TART Trails organization and Top of Michigan Trails Council spearhead the multiyear project spanning Grand Traverse, Antrim and Charlevoix counties and seven townships. The proposed 46-mile Traverse City to Charlevoix route closes an existing gap to create a 325-mile nonmotorized pathway. It will connect Traverse City’s TART Trail to Charlevoix’s Little Traverse Wheelway and link to the rest of the Northern Lower Peninsula’s trail network. Read more here from the Record Eagle.
