Elk Rapids Downtown Development Authority is adding their support to the proposed Traverse City to Charlevoix trail in the form of grant monies provided by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. The $19,998.19 grant award will help fund preliminary design and engineering for the section of trail connecting Elk Rapids to Maple Bay and on to Acme.
