The approved State of Michigan budget included $2.4 million to support trail development along the TC-CHX corridor. Thanks to the support of local and state partners, including MDOT and MDNR,  along with Senator Wayne Schmidt andState Representatives Larry Inman and Triston Cole who supported the budget.This investment advances Governor Rick Snyder’s vision to make Michigan”The Trails State” and helps our region build connections between people and places to support happy, healthy, active communities.

MDNR and the Michigan Department of Transportation presented project managers a $2.4 million check on August 1. The funding will be leveraged to help complete trail planning efforts along the46-mile corridor.
